North Fair Oaks is a vibrant, diverse community that has just begun a period of revitalization. The positive changes, catalyzed by the adoption of the North Fair Oaks Community Plan by the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in 2011, are collectively known as North Fair Oaks Forward.

North Fair Oaks Forward (NFO Forward) was launched by San Mateo County in 2013 as an initiative to partner with residents, businesses and others who care about this area to implement the North Fair Oaks Community Plan and inspire other projects to enhance the quality of life for all who live and work in this community.
